PLAYTEST DATA

Privacy policy

YUREI processes limited telemetry in the private playtest build to balance and polish SPECTRASCENT. This policy does not link to the test build.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is used only to identify progression, balance, performance, and stability issues and to compare results by version, difficulty, and mode. No design decision is automated.

Processing is based on YUREI's legitimate interest in improving the game before release. You may object on the initial information screen and at any time in Settings > Game.

Data processed

For each run: UTC dates, progress, outcome, difficulty, mode, facet, duration, kills, FLUX use, gun jams, relics, mutations, pacts, and shop offers and choices. Technical aggregates: average and histogram of frame times, p95, frames above 50/100/250 ms, resolution, window mode, FPS cap, quality, RHI, and GPU family. Build context includes version, source, language, and platform.

Telemetry sends no crash dump, game log, local path, machine name, email address, or free text. The IP address is used only in memory for rate limiting and is not retained in access logs.

Pseudonymous identifier

A random installation GUID links runs together and can, if you voluntarily provide it, link feedback to your runs. This identifier is pseudonymous, not anonymous. You can copy it from Settings > Game.

Operation and opt-out

Each run is first written under Saved/Telemetry. Uploads occur only from the main menu or Workshop. The local queue is bounded, resumes after an interruption, and is deleted in full when telemetry is disabled.

Requests are encrypted with HTTPS and authenticated. Data is accessible only to YUREI and its technical hosting providers as necessary to provide the service.

Retention

Runs are deleted no later than 365 days after receipt. Retention for any separate feedback form is independent.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, or deletion, restrict processing, or object to it. Include your telemetry identifier so the relevant runs can be located.
